We believe in all the basic doctrines of biblical and historic Christianity.

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, inerrant and authoritative Word of God.

We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and the Holy Spirit.

We believe that God is the personal, transcendent, and sovereign Creator of all things

We believe in the full deity and humanity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His atoning subitutionary death on the cross, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in his personal return in power and glory.

We believe that all people are sinners by nature and choice, and must be regenerated by the Holy Spirit in order to be saved. We believe that repentance from sin and faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior is the only way to come into relationship with God.

We believe in the Holy Spirit, who convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgement, and who regenerates, sanctifies, and empowers for ministry all who believe in Christ. We believe the Holy Spirit indwells all who have faith in Jesus Christ. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, and in the orderly exercise of all Biblical gifts of the Spirit.

We believe that forgiveness and salvation are freely offered to all by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, through faith, apart from any human merit.

We believe in the resurrection of all people, both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto eternal life in heaven, and they that are lost unto eternal damnation in hell.

The statements above define our position on essential points of doctrine. There can be no genuine Christian unity and fellowship apart from agreement on these issues.

In addition to these, we also hold to the following doctrines that are not essential to Christian unity, but important nonetheless:

We hold to the premillennial view of eschatology and the pre-tribulation view of Rapture.

  • We recognize that this is an area where Christians can legitimately disagree, and we welcome anyone holding to a different view - we only expect that those who disagree still honor our position and do not seek to teach or promote opposing views.

We are continuationist in our view of the work of the Holy Spirit. We believe the miraculous gifts are for the church today.

  • However, we believe the gifts are to be exercised in biblical and orderly manner.

We are complementarian in our view of the roles of men and women in ministry.

  • We believe that God has ordained male headship in the family and in the church.

We are neither Calvinist nor Arminian. We believe the Scriptures teach God’s sovereignty in salvation, as well as genuine human freedom of choice. Any seeming contradiction between these two arise only from our limited human understanding of God’s inscrutable ways.

  • We welcome our Calvinist and Arminian brothers and sister to fellowship with us, but as with eschatology, we expect there to be mutual respect and refraining from all teaching and promotion of views that we reject.

We hold to a literal interpretation of Genesis. This means that we believe and teach seven day creation and we reject the theory of Darwinian evolution.

  • We recognize that there are various biblically legitimate views regarding Genesis, however this is the view we consider most consistent with the entirety of Scripture.

We reject Replacement Theology in all its forms.

  • We believe that God’s covenant promises to Israel remain despite the grafting in of the Gentiles under the New Covenant and despite their current rebellion against God and His Messaiah.

We practice believer's baptism (or credobaptism.)

  • We reject Batismal Regeneration as well as infant baptism, we believe baptism is an outward declaration of what God has done inwardly in a believer's life. We baptize by immersion, as it best reflects our union with Christ in his death and resurrection.
